“Trang Trinh has clearly become the Representative artist with strong influence on the Vietnamese Art Scene”- Vietnamnet, November 2012. Considered as one of Vietnam’s most promising young talent in Classical Music, Trang Trinh has rapidly emerged as the Nation’s leading young artist ever since completing her study with Distinction at the Royal Academy of Music (London), with concert engagements both within the borders and throughout Europe. Known for her creativity, sincere musicianship, beautiful sound and a uniquely friendly approach, her creative recital “Piano’s Journal” (Nhat ki Duong cam) in February 2011 was the first of its kind in Vietnam, receiving extensive media coverage and public attention. Its success marked her out as not only an in-demand Concert Pianist, but also as a passionate Advocate of Classical Music, a unique Artist whose commitment both to her Art and her Audience shines through in every performance. Awarded the Licentiate of the RAM (Music educator) at the age of only 21, Trang Trinh has displayed exceptional music education skills and creativity.

Korean lyric-tenor Park Sung Min graduated vocal study at Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea in 2011. His musical career started in 2005, after surprisingly impressing a vocal teacher while being a second year Finance student. He has worked closely with many reputable professors and performed in lots of choirs in various countries such as Russia, Hungary, the UK, Sweden, etc. and Park Sung Min received an award for excellent achievements in 2006. He made his first appearance in Vietnam at L’espace concert hall as Special Guest Artist in pianist Trang Trinh’s recital, November 2011, and also in this year, he was qualified as a music teacher. Since then, he has sung in concerts in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, including concert by Vietnam Korean Resident Newspaper at the National Conservatory Concert Hall. At present, he is taking the role of the chief conductor of the Korean Choir in Hanoi.

2007: Trang Trinh took part in Administration Team of the Project “Music in Community” at St. Mary’s Primary School, London

2008: Trang Trinh got involved in the non- profit project of teaching piano for Vietnamese children in Waterloo, South East of London

2008: Trang Trinh held a music day at Center of Hope (Trung tâm Hy vọng). Lap Thach, Vinh Phuc, with students of Vietnam National Academy of Music and guests from England.

2010: Park Sung Min participated in teaching a musical course for middle-school pupils in Seoul and was awarded the Certificate of Music Education by Yonsei University

2010: Trang Trinh set up and ran successfully the project “Rethinking Beethoven” in London and the project was evaluated as “Creative and full of outstanding educational values” by Royal Academy of Music of England

2011: Trang Trinh conducted successfully the project “Piano’s journal”- two performances of high musical education value in Hanoi. The parallel project, known as “1+1”, with free -of -charge meetings for exchanges on music was also a success with more than 50 meetings

2011: Trang Trinh executed the project “Piano Explored”, which discovered the piano with students of ERATO school, HCMC

2012: Trang Trinh and Park Sung Min supported Blue Dragon, a center for homeless children in Hanoi, a small choir of 10 children performed successfully

2012: Park Sung Min became the main conductor of Korean choir in Hanoi

2013: Summer Camp Creative Kids Project (UNIS) “Brighten yourself” (Tự thân khai sáng) with Professor Giap Van Duong: the project combined with Boston Children’s Chorus, a famous chorus from the US

2013: Park Sung Min and Trang Trinh signed an agreement of corporation with the Korean Culture Center in Vietnam on the project “Miracle Choir”




Korean Cultural Center

The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam was founded on November 18th, 2006 with the purpose of promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between Vietnam and Korea, who already have a lot of historical and cultural points in common, promoting mutual understanding and friendly relationship between people of the two countries. The Korean Cultural Center works with the goal of introducing Korean culture to Vietnamese people, in order that they have more knowledge of culture, arts, sports, and tourism of Korea.

Dream Project, also known as “K- art Project” belongs the Korean Cultural Center. It was born in April, 2013 after the event Kpop Fan-club Festival 2013 in Hanoi.The aim of the project is to raise self- confidence of Vietnamese young people, who take great interest in Korean mass culture, through involvement in pioneer activities. Targeted at the group of young people who have little chance of experiencing cultural activities, the pioneering artist crew will contribute to building the sincere relationship by essential activities rather than just shallow ones.

The Korean Cultural Center and Dream Project altogether head for establishing positive spiritual values for people, present images of beautiful Korea with distinctive long-time traditional culture to Vietnamese people, and above all, aim at warmand sustainable relationship between Vietnam and Korea.
